RMHC Endowment

Ronald McDonald House CharitiesAs part of the We Believe Campaign, a Ronald McDonald House Charities Endowment has been established at the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. This fund will allow any Ronald McDonald House throughout the world to apply directly for grants from the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation, allowing us to provide support for:

  • Houses that do not have an ADPi chapter or alumnae association nearby supporting them
  • New houses being built
  • Existing houses being renovated
  • Family rooms that are being expanded and renovated

 

Alpha Delta Pi supports approximately 40% of RMHC’s chapters worldwide, leaving significant room to grow our support for the House that Love Built.

 

To date, the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation has awarded $50,000 in grants through the RMHC Endowment. Grants have been awarded to the following local RMHCs:

  • Arkansas in support of a Ronald McDonald House Family Room (2019)
  • Bismarck, ND in support of an expanded meal program (2019)
  • Idaho in support of construction of the Family Room within Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (2019)
  • New Mexico to support of the first purpose-built Ronald McDonald House in a hotel (2019)
  • Siouxland, IA for the RMHC of Siouxland Family Kitchen & Lunch Program (2019)
  • Amarillo, TX to help build a new house in the Texas Panhandle (2020)
  • Denver, CO for the rehabilitation of the Starlight Room play area (2020)
  • Hawaii to provide furnishings for the Distant Learning Space & Computer Center (2020)
  • Pittsburgh, PA & Morgantown, WV in support of their Care Mobile, which provides immunizations, screening for food insecurity, and referrals to additional area resources (2020)
  • Southwest Ontario, Canada in support of a meal program to meet food safety protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020)
