Below you will find answers to many common questions about Forever First History Campaign.

How long should I set up my recurring gift for?

We ask for all History Campaign pledges to be made over three years to ensure that we have the funds available to pay for the projects as they happen leading up to our 175th Anniversary. Please contact the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation staff if you have any questions.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes! The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so your gifts are tax-deductible. Please retain your email receipt for tax purposes.

Can I set up a pledge or recurring gift?

Yes, please select "recurring" when you submit your donation. Any recurring gifts set up during our #GivingTuesday event will count as a pledge towards the Forever First History Campaign.

Will I receive a receipt?

Absolutely! After you make your gift, you will receive a confirmation email that can be used for tax purposes.

My employer offers a gift matching program. Are gifts during #GivingTuesday eligible?

Definitely! You will receive an email confirmation of your gift that can be used for tax and gift matching purposes. Not sure if your company offers a gift matching program? Check on our website.

Will my gift count towards my annual giving recognition in The Adelphean and on the Foundation's website?

Yes. Your gift on #GivingTuesday will apply to your recognition in the Foundation's Honor Roll of Donors for the 2023-2024 giving year. See our Annual and Lifetime Giving Clubs on our website. Our giving year is August 1st through July 31st. Check out your Giving History on Pride Online to see your total contributions and giving club level for this giving year.
