Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes! The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so your gifts are tax-deductible. Please retain your email receipt for tax purposes.
Can I make a monthly gift?
Yes. Please select "recurring" when you submit your donation. HOWEVER - please note that a recurring gift cannot be paired with "add another gift to your donation." Please make your recurring gift separately to ensure it continues to be processed each month going forward. All recurring gifts set up on Day of Giving will count as a pledge towards our Day of Giving totals up to one year - i.e. if you set up a monthly gift of $25 for the next year, we will count your $300 pledge towards our totals for the day. Are Violets for My Sisters included in Day of Giving this year?
If you would like to participate in Violets for My Sisters, please make your gift at www.violetsformysisters.org (not here). The Foundation staff will administratively enter Violets for My Sisters gifts during Day of Giving so they count towards our Day of Giving totals. Notifications will be sent via email to all honorees.
Will I receive a receipt?
Absolutely! After you make your gift, you will receive a confirmation email that can be used for tax purposes.
Can I make a Day of Giving gift from my Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)?
Yes! We now accept Donor-Advised Funds directly through our Day of Giving site via DAFpay. Simply check the DAFpay option when making your gift.
My employer offers a gift matching program. Are gifts on the Day of Giving eligible?
Definitely! You will receive an email confirmation of your gift that can be used for tax and gift matching purposes. Not sure if your company offers a gift matching program? Check on our website.
I would like to cover the processing fees for my gift. Is there a way to do that?
There is not an automatic option to cover transaction fees on our giving day site. If you would like to increase your gift to help cover fees, most of our credit card transaction fees are around 3% so adding a little extra to your gift to cover that 3% fee is appreciated.
