Help support alumnae in financial distress

The Clasped Hands Fund Grant provides emergency financial assistance to Alpha Delta Pi alumnae who find themselves in financial distress. Need and circumstances determine the amount of each grant. Over the years, the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation has awarded more than $880,000 in Clasped Hands Fund grants to alumnae in need.

Violets for My Sisters

Our annual fundraiser to provide for alumnae members in financial distress will be Virtual Violets for My Sisters again this year.

The Foundation staff will administratively enter Violets for My Sisters gifts during Day of Giving so they count towards our Day of Giving totals and notifications will be sent via email to all honorees.

History

The Clasped Hands Fund started with contributions received at Grand Convention in 1993. The fund was endowed in 1997 thanks to the generosity of Deen Day Sanders, Beta Sigma—Mercer University.

Mary's Milestone Mission

In honor of our 175th anniversary, the 175th gift made unlocks a $3,000 Day of Giving bonus. In honor of the 26 National Panhellenic Conference sororities, the 260th gift made unlocks a $4,000 bonus. In honor of our birthplace, the 478th gift made unlocks a $5,000 bonus gift (478 is the area code for Macon, Georgia). In honor of our six Founders, the 600th gift made unlocks a $6,000 bonus gift. In honor of our seven volunteers on Grand Council, the 700th gift unlocks a $7,000 bonus. In honor of our eleven Foundation Trustees, the 1100th gift made unlocks an $11,000 bonus. And in honor of our 175th anniversary, the 1750th gift made unlocks a $23,000 Day of Giving bonus.
