Kappa-Samford

The Kappa Chapter 75th Anniversary Scholarship was established in 1985 by Kappa Chapter in honor of its 75th anniversary. The 2024-2025 recipient was Samantha Haase, Kappa.

The Lucy Candler Leide Scholarship was established as part of the We Believe Campaign by Vesta Owens Jones, Beta Nu—University of Georgia, in memory of her grandmother, Lucy Candler Leide, Alpha—Wesleyan College. This scholarship is for members at Kappa—Samford University, Lambda—Brenau University, and Beta Nu—University of Georgia. The 2024-2025 recipient was Elizabeth Crosland, Beta Nu.

Ella's Gift Challenge

In honor of 174 years of sisterhood, the 174th gift unlocks a Day of Giving bonus of $10,000 thanks to Pat Johnson Evans, Beta Omega-Auburn and Tracy Garner, Zeta Omicron-Georgia Tech. When we reach 500 gifts, another $20,000 bonus from the Fort Worth Alumnae Association will be unlocked. At 1,000 gifts, an additional $20,000 bonus will be unlocked thanks to Jan Alexander Maisch, Epsilon Omega-Jacksonville.
